Oromis' new school armour

Here I gave my guardians of Ga'hoole OC a new style. Now his talons are more square and battle-worthy with thicker feathers like real snowy owls have on their feet. His scar is more believable because a snowy owls coat of feathers is quite thick.

His new body armour is made of light yet hard polar bear leather pads with flexible soft rabbit leather underneath to keep his momentum unhindered.
The helmet is lined with mu metal so Oromis' brain won't be effected by the magnetic fields caused by flecks. The steel beak is very sharp and can cut better to make up for his lack of battle claws.
The studded and loosely stacked hard leather on his wings allows him to deflect strikes and cause more devastating blows with his wings.
The leggings have no battle claws and allows him to move silently while on the ground, strike flexibly in combat, hold an owlet with less risk of harming them, and give him space to reload his gun.
Speaking of which that flintlock pistol packs quite a punch in combat though its kick knocks the users lightweight body back a bit so keep a good grip and stance. It can only hold two bullets and makes a lot of noise making it an unreliable stealth weapon but it can pierce through a bears skull with ease. And I don't care how sharp your battle claws are.

The armour is designed and crafted by Bubo who is inspired by Oromis' unconventional yet flexible combat style.

Oromis exchanged either his throwing knives or flying snake venom for the pistol with Trader Mags who told Oromis she received it from a Roguesmith in the Shadow Forest who traded it for herbs. She thought Oromis might agree to trade for it because of his odd taste in weapons and armour. Oromis knows nothing else about the Roguesmith but is eager to meet with him/her.
